We are a local chapter of Toastmasters International. Toastmasters members are a diverse group, spanning countries and cultures, and all socio-economic backgrounds. Guests are always welcome. Brentwood Evening Toastmasters is dedicated to providing a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
Experienced professionals and beginning speakers alike can benefit from our practical, face-to-face learning program. Whether you're speaking to the board of directors, your customers, your co-workers or your kids, Toastmasters can help you do it better. You'll learn and practice in a friendly, comfortable environment with people who are there for the same reason you areto become better communicators.
At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. A typical Toastmasters club is
made up of 20 to 30 people who meet once a week for about an hour. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation. Visit our online journal and preview meeting notes to gain insight into the typical evening with Brentwood Evening Toastmasters.

Brentwood Evening Toastmasters meets at the Forest Hills United Methodist Church at 1250 Old Hickory Blvd in Brentwood, TN.
(We are not affiliated with the church. Through the open generosity of the church, BET is able to use one of the church classrooms. We are open to any and all individuals interested in self-improvement.)

We meet from 7 pm to 8:30 pm on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Tuesdays of each month.
